Heading back to school – choosing the right backpack

Appointments

All appointments are arranged via our Greenslopes rooms. Please contact our reception staff, Litsa Diane, or Julie for details of session times at each location.

If you have any concerns that cannot be addressed by our capable and friendly reception staff, please contact our Office Manager, Litsa Angeli who will ensure that your needs are met.

Children are treated one on one at all times. Initial appointments last 45 minutes to one (1) hour depending on the complexity of the condition. Follow up appointments are 30 –45 minutes in duration. The length of the session depends on the nature of the treatment required.

Melissa, Jane and Dace work at Greenslopes and there is a physiotherapist at the Clinic Monday to Friday.

Melissa and Vincent work at Southport on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Kathy works at the Yeronga gym Monday, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and runs a strengthening class for youngsters on Saturday morning at Greenslopes. This occurs during school terms.

Melissa supports working parents. At times each physiotherapist will be unavailable in order for them to spend time with their own children. We know that, as parents, you understand the importance of us taking time to be with our families.

Fees & Charges

Private health funds provide a rebate for physiotherapy. Please contact your health fund to find out the rebate you receive.

If your child has a chronic or complex condition that requires ongoing physiotherapy, they will be eligible for Medicare rebates on 5 treatments in a 12 month period. This is available under the EPC (Enhanced Primary Care) Plan. It requires your GP to write a care plan including physiotherapy. At the conclusion of the five treatment sessions we write a report to your GP regarding the treatment undertaken and the outcomes.

The fees we charge are set at a level which enables us to look after you properly.

You may find that there is a difference between the fees that we charge and the rebate provided to you by Medicare or your Private Health Fund.

Health Care and Government Medicare Rebates have not kept pace with inflation and the rising costs of running a medical or physiotherapy practice.

If you have any queries about our fees please speak to Litsa Angeli, our Office Manager.

We are here to LISTEN.
