Hayley King

Hayley has a keen interest and passion for working with children and their families in the area of paediatric physiotherapy. Hayley enjoys working together with the child and their family to help them achieve their goals in a caring, compassionate and fun environment. Hayley has an interest in children’s development, physical fitness and gross motor skills. 

Qualifications, Professional History & Experience


Hayley was awarded a Bachelor of Exercise Science from Griffith University in 2004. Hayley has since worked in a neurological and orthopaedic rehabilitation unit and then graduated from a Masters in physiotherapy in 2008 from Griffith University. Hayley has continued her learning after university and has attended a paediatric physiotherapy course at The Royal Children’s Hospital in Brisbane in 2009, a developmental paediatric course at The University of QLD in 2010.  She has also completed short courses in the assessment of chlidren's gait and development of the lower extremity.


Hayley has worked at the Princess Alexandra Hospital prior to focusing her career on paediatrics and is currently also working as a physiotherapist in the school setting with Education Queensland.

Hayley is a member of the Australian Physiotherapist Association and is advocate for children of all abilities. 

Hayley is enthusiastic in helping children along with their families in achieving what they strive for, regardless of their physical or intellectual standing.
